Black and green tea contain caffeine because both come from the tea plant. Rooibos contains no caffeine by nature, while a herbal blend depends on its complete recipe.
What changes caffeine in the cup?
Plant variety, leaf quantity, water temperature, steeping time and cup size all affect the final amount. General ranges are not laboratory results for an individual Moodvera product.
Moodvera at a glance
- Jasmine Flow: green tea; contains caffeine.
- Blue Fog: black tea; contains caffeine.
- Moon Calm: rooibos and herbs; caffeine-free.
- Rosé Glaze: fruit and herbs; caffeine-free.
Does a shorter steep remove caffeine?
A shorter steep may extract less caffeine, but it does not turn green or black tea into a caffeine-free drink. Choose a naturally caffeine-free recipe when that distinction matters.
